Gilles Flamenco-ing it up

After just playing last month I’m heading back for another round. It’s like I’m seeing double, only the things I’m seeing double are separate and one month apart!

This month’s Art Salon party is going to be a really fun one. This is artist Pablo’s first solo exhibition (and his stuff is REALLY cool) and on the music end of things my own drummer homeboy Ethan Meyer’s blues band The Sausage Factory Blues and Soul Show is taking the stage. Also performing: Yours truly (on my electrified acoustic) and more!

$40 can easily be spent on a couple of drinks and an appetizer anywhere else and I’ll be the first to tell you that anywhere else isn’t nearly as fun. At the Art Salon Party $40 gets you a shitload more. Such as:

  • In the door
  • Automatic entry in the raffle to win one of Pablo’s pieces at the event
  • All of the aforementioned live music
  • The privilege of hanging out with some really fun, eclectic peeps within the confines of Gilles Larrain’s totally bitchin’ historic SoHo studio and hear/watch him play some pretty amazing Flamenco guitar
  • Watch Louda Larrain’s amazing drawings of the evening’s models unfold before your eyes
  • More wine and delicious sangria than Keith Moon and John Bonham combined could ever consume.. And some pretty amazing food
  • Paper and utensils with which to sketch live models if you wish to do so
  • An opportunity to meet Art Salon Director of Development Nadira Husain in person. Bring your autograph pad!
