"Booger"I think this song is 11 years old now…? It started with a completely different meaning but eventually took on the identity of my Grandma Eppel and her car that she had just bought around that time which she named “FERN”. Fern had a really rad sparky green paint job. Actually Fern still has a rad sparkly green paint job – “she’s” my brother Chuck’s car now.

When I saw that car for the first time I thought “Badass, I want a guitar that color someday!” Lo and behold a couple of years later when Bryn and I were visiting New York I crossed paths with the lovely green Gretsch pictured to the left and it was love at first site. It’s not sparkly like Fern, but the same general flavor of green.

I digress. Here’s some video of me rocking out the tune a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t sure that I wanted to use it because the way my shirt bunches up on the guitar bothers me. I’m over it now. If you happened upon this blawg and would like the mp3 and/or entire album it’s on you can get it here. Thanks for listening!
