After over 3 years of only using my black markers, at some point in the fall of ‘16 I started using *gasp* PENCIL for shading rather than crosshatching with a super fine tip 005 Prismacolor marker. I also started scanning drawings instead of using my iPhone camera… something that added another 10-15 minutes onto my drawing time. My scanner wasn’t the greatest, so the scanned output always needed a little cleanup and refinement. They sure looked better than iPhone photos though!
